There are no prerequisites for this class. All students must have a computer with Rhino installed before class. The Rhino trial version can be downloaded for free at https://www.rhino3d.com/download for 90 days. The Window system and three-button mouse is preferred.

  • Can I use older version of Rhino 3D for the course?

    Yes, most of the course's commands applied to Rhino 5 and newer versions. I will remind you in the video tutorials if the command only applies to newer Rhino 3D software. And All the download files are in Rhino 5 format which can also be used both in Rhino 5 and newer versions for practices.

  • How long can I access the course?

    It is a Lifetime membership course. All the course materials are pre-recorded and available in your membership anytime. You can learn at your own pace. However, the Private Group Coaching program is limited starting from when you purchase the course.

  • Will you have an update when the newer Rhino 3D software gets published?

    Yes. When new software is released, I will add new features and bonuses. With your lifetime membership, you will get lifetime upgrades at no additional cost.

  • I am a beginner to Rhino 3D, is this a right course for me?

    Absolutely, the course starts from the basic interface and Rhino 3D model concept to an intermediate level of building 3D modeling for jewelry design. There are no prior Rhino 3D modeling experience required to take this course.

  • I already know basic Rhino, will this course help me on better 3D modeling?

    Absolutely. People may think this is a beginning course only, and I do cover a lot of fundamental 3D modeling concepts. Many of the demos use multiple commands in simple ways to create complex models. This course not only help you polish what you know, but also advance your modeling abilities.

  • Can I download it on my own computer to watch offline?

    We do not offer offline versions with current platform. You can watch it anytime with internet access.

  • What if I need additional tutoring for Rhino CAD on my own design?

    You can contact us for private tutoring. Send us your design and 3dm file. We will work on the estimate and schedule with you individually.

As an experienced jewellery designer, I can no longer ignore the know-how of 3D modelling. Rhinocéros is the must learn program while we talk about 3D modelling for jewellery. I’ve been trying to learn 3D modelling by myself just following different tutorials on YouTube. However, without a clear learning program, I spent a lot of time but achieved so few. By following the cours of PJ Chen, and especially being in her private coaching group, help me a lot. Each week we have our questions answered and problems solved. His course is organised in a very logic way so I could have a very solid and clear understanding in how Rhino works. Also, he provides many examples and exercised base on the characteristic for each tool. All the exercises PJ demonstrated are very very very useful. The steps are simple but effective and efficient. PJ's style of teaching makes it very easy to follow, with so much reference material and videos in her repertoire, she reduces the most tricky design into a short series of commands, often offering more than one solution to obtain slightly differing results.
